LM&W has filed a lawsuit on behalf of our client’s Estate, stemming from a preventable tragedy where our client drowned in a snorkeling incident off the coast of Mexico during a Carnival Shore excursion during a cruise on the Carnival Panorama. The lawsuit was filed on Monday in Florida Southern District Court against Carnival Cruise Lines and Vallarta Adventures for the wrongful death of Donna Faye Nelson. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants.
Our attorney, Jacqueline Garcell weighed in on the case. “This is yet another example of cruise lines failing to warn passengers of the dangers associated with the excursions they sell,” said Garcell. “They are required to issue such warnings, and we will continue the fight to hold the cruise lines responsible when they fail to do so, as shown here.”
